The spirits grant wishes in exchange for a magical tithe and Mare pockets the monetary fee. Once she has enough cash, she’ll flee. But the legend of the First Witch grows, and visitors flood her sleepy town. Mare races to fix the mess she’s created, before the newly invigorated spirits drag her to an early grave and remind everyone why they were imprisoned in the first place.
